## Details

Status: `CONFIRMED`; Reference: `MAINTENANCE-20250306`; Scope: `*.AD.HVAICLAB.INTERNAL` (ALL SERVICES); **ATTN**: Service disruptions expected; Remote desktop service moved to https://deskhub.sghvaic.org.

The computing platform will be moved to a new physical machine with upgraded hardware. As a result, the following virtual machines will be upgraded as well:

- `vm-linux-cp`: Removal of 1x NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti 12GiB GPU; Upgrade of RAM from 64GiB to 512GiB (shared); Addition of 3x NVIDIA RTX 6000 ADA 48GiB/24GiB/16GiB vGPUs.
- `vm-win-cp`: Upgrade of RAM from 32GiB to 512GiB (shared); Addition of 1x NVIDIA RTX 6000 ADA 8GiB vGPU.

Automatic backup for all machines will also be configured. Details will be announced at a later date.

Additional Notes:

The virtual machine `hvaclab-winde` is decommissioned and only available at https://vhorizon-hvaclab.sghvaic.org. Users may access the desktops of the newly available `vm-linux-cp` and `vm-win-cp` at https://deskhub.sghvaic.org.
